Merry Christmas

I know that not everyone celebrates Christmas, but does it really matter? It's the holiday season and I love the feeling. Everyone sort of comes together this time of year. Even if it is coming together to AGGRESSIVELY shop at the mall and places like wal-mart. Hey, at least everyone is grumpy and stressed -together-.
I'm having a great holiday though. I am so excited about tomorrow, I cannot wait!!! My mom is making a breakfast casserole and for dinner we are having salmon. Not the traditional fare, but it works for us. I like it anyway.
Does anyone else have trouble focusing on blue/purple Christmas lights? For some reason they make my eyes feel wonky and they are all blurry. *shrugs* Probably just me.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! ^_^ I hope you and yours are having the best one yet. No, I can't say I have the issue with the blue and purple lights but sometimes I do get that wonky haze when I see too many white lights. I think a person's eyes can only take so much. Besides, blue eyes are more sensitive so I'm betting thats what's going on with you. Hee hee.
    I love this time of year! I LOVE IT!!!!! IT makes me glad to know you're lovin' it too. HAPPIEST HOLIDAYS!

    Hello Hello! Here I am typing from your very own desk and writing an addendum to this post. (That is if Wren will stop biting my fingers!) Anyway...YES!! Absolutely the blue lights creat a crazy hazy effect. It's a particular kind I think though. @_@ It's pretty impressive, I must say. Anyway... YES! I see it1!!!

Losing Money

That's what my bosses are doing today. They make us work on Memorial Day and then question why we aren't busy. But hey, why should I care? I'm getting paid to sit here and read. It's just that sometimes I can't help feeling I'm stuck in a Saturday detention. Doesn't help that half of the employees called in 'sick' today. Maybe I'm just jealous and bitter. I did have a wonderful weekend though! We went to the lake on Saturday and couldn't have asked for better weather. Had a BBQ, soaked up some sun, went home and slept. I watched Trainspotting while I unpacked some more boxes. It was disturbing to say the least and the baby, TRAUMATIZING. Johnny Lee Miller is absolutely adorable though. On Sunday we went to the theater and saw Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End . I was a little 'iffy' about it because I had read it was over 2 1/2 hours long. So this is INCREDIBLY rambly...just had to get some things out! Life is.... interesting I feel..... everything One moment I feel very adult-like. I have responsibilities, a career (even if it's one I don't like). I have bills to pay and I'm budgeting my money. I make wise choices and investments. I help people with their problems and I am a shoulder to cry on. I fix things and I'm in complete control. I know how the world works and I feel comfortable with that.
