Progress

I've finally finished sketching the "foundation" for my Star Wars project. It took a lot longer than I orignally thought it was going to because I had to increase the size nearly 12 inches. Here is a picture that I've taken of the corner I'm working on. It's a little larger than an 8x10 section.
I also saw 300 this weekend. I didn't really have high hopes for the story, I was mostly interested in the art of the movie. However, everything exceeded my expectations. It was highly entertaining. I definitely recommend it to everyone. I think there was a little too much sexuality but that would be my only complaint. It was visually stunning, the acting was amazing (Spartan women just rock!) and they really got the 'heart' of the story across I think.
Oh yeah, the Star Wars characters belong to George Lucas and anyone else who owns the copyrights. I'm just a fan!

HAHAHA! I love your disclaimer. Well, its more like you are working for a fan. I said it before and I will say it again---Your work is FANTASTIC! Honestly, I couldn't begin to sketch like that. See, that's what makes you so amazing and the perfect foil to me. YOU barely talk or share of yourself with others but when you do, people would be floored to know that you have so many fine skills when it comes to art. You're AWESOME! ME, I'm all talk and that's it. I can talk talk talk but can I do much of anything else? Nope! But I can convince you that I rock anyway. The fact is and always shall be that YOU, my dear ROCK in every way shape and form.
300 did look visually stunning from the commercials but it's a bit too stylized for my taste. I'd like to see a realistic take on that battle, but that's just me. I know Frank Miller is a genius. WHen all's said and done....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! You make me so proud. ^_^
