No U-Turn
I've come upon another mysterious mental road block. I started a great project, which you can check out the first step on my deviantart page. But now I find myself just staring at the paper. I also have A LOT of comissions just sitting on my desk as well. I can't seem to muster up any sort of inspiration. I know this is a normal thing, but when you are wanting to get paid, well....it becomes a problem. It's frustrating to say the least. I think I will just have to peruse the many talented artist's galleries and try to get inspired. In the famous words of Mr. Gunn "Make it Happen!"
I don't know who Mr. Gunn is but that does sound like something a man would say. On the other hand, it sounds like something -I- would say too....with the notable exception of ART! You can't just MAKE art happen. Art has to be felt. Artists are passionate about their art. It's practically in the job description. If you're not feeling the passion for drawing you can no more force yourself to draw than you can force passion in sex. It's there or it's not. My advice to you is to simply sit back and wait for inspiration to come to you. Mr. Gunn might MAKE something happen but it wont be anywhere near the genius that comes from that spark of passion needed to TRULY create art. ^_^ Those are my two cents.
