Sickness Follows
You would think that since I am surrounded by sick children all day, I would be more accustomed to dealing with sick people. I don't think my experience helps when it comes to someone who lives in your house though. I feel so helpless and not to mention the inconvenience. The routine is all screwed up. I know that's harsh and probably insensitive, but it's true. It's even worse when the sick person doesn't want to be bothered. Then you're just left to tip-toe around the house and fend for yourself. I would even compare it to the electricity going out. As soon as the electricity goes out, you suddenly have absolutely nothing to do. You cannot think of one single thing to do that does not involve electricity. Even though in your normal day-to-day life you do a hundred things that don't rely on it. As soon as a someone in your house becomes sick, you suddenly want to do all of the things that make a lot of noise and would irritate this person. The mind is a terrible thing sometimes. As soon as something is denied to us, we want it all the more. I don't really know where I was going with this.
I'm leaving early tomorrow morning and I'm so excited. I think my mind is already on the road though!

Oh WOW! Your comments are back! I'm positively thrilled about this. *GRINS WIDELY* Though, I wasn't angered by the absence of this command. You just happen to know that I love to talk---A LOT.
ReplyDeleteAnyway...I'm sorry if things were weird but I'm sooo glad we got to do this thing. IT meant alot to me to be able to share in it and I'm still excited about it, actually. Next thing you know I'll be as bad as you. I'll be eating and breathing Tegan and Sara...*GRINS* Well..I loved it. I hope we can do it again! Meanwhile, I'll just have to miss you...A LOT.
