There is no question that I am my mother's daughter!

Mom: "Did you see the new duck by the pond?"

Me: "No, I haven't."

Mom: "It's a weird color. It's kind of brown... maybe tan."

Me: "Huh"

I think the conversation is over at this point and distractedly look at a bill on the table.

Mom: "It's the color of a chicken. Kind of."

Me: "mmmm"

Mom: "It's a duck chicken"

- silence -

"It's a CHUCK!"

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!
