So This Is Summer

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did for sure. I spent the weekend in Pensacola, FL. It was VERY hot! But lots of fun was had for sure. While I was there I managed to visit the zoo. It's one of the smaller one's I've been to, but it's very charming! They had a beautiful leopard enclosure. ( H: You should have seen the leopards! Tell him what the leopards were doing Adrienne!!! *said all excitedly* A: *straight-faced and monotone* They were growling.) *giggles* I guess sometimes I'm not one for words. I've been told I'm not a great storyteller. Blah, Blah.
I also learned a lot about myself. I think experiences can really open your eyes to things and to people. 'Nuff said.
The drive home was -exhausting- though! I was fighting the whole way home to not fall asleep. I also got pulled over for the first time ever in my life. I had just merged onto the interstate and thought it was 60 mph. Unbeknownst to me it was a construction zone, so it was only 45 mph. I batted my eyelashes and explained I was only visiting and I wasn’t familiar with the area and I was sort of lost. *blinks innocently* So, I only got a warning! *grins* I rock sometimes. He told me the ticket would have been $180 though. YIKES!
