What Is Done

So, it is done. It was really uncomplicated and fast. The whole procedure took about 45 minutes. When I was done, they walked me to this recliner where I was waiting for my mother to pull around with the car. I must have been babbling about what the tooth looked like and if it was hard to pull out, if the roots were long..etc. My mom came in and she looks at me, "Why are you holding your tooth?? That's gross!" I look down and I'm really holding this blue packet with my tooth in it. I must have asked for it, but I don't remember doing so.
The next day I feel good enough to go to work. The day goes really well but by 3:30 or 4 I'm feeling pretty wiped. I take a nap and then meet the family for dinner and a movie. By the end of the night I'm pretty sore but I have meds for pain so I just sleep it off. I just wish I could have gotten this done a lot sooner because the pain from having it pulled is nothing compared to the pain of having it in my mouth!!
By the way, I saw "The Lake House" with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. It's a really nice and cool love story, but OH MY GOSH was it ever slow!! I almost fell asleep a couple of times. Definite rental!
