Hello Feet

Uggghhh, the weather in the past two days have been AWFUL! Right now it's pouring rain and the wind is crazy. Not to mention it's so dark! I know I've said it before, but it just makes me SO sleepy! And let me tell you how much fun it is to walk a huge golden retriever in this kind of weather.
I've finally gotten rid of the headache that had been hanging around for the longest time. I think it was all tension because the back of my neck hurt. Things have been a little tense at work too and I have A LOT to do craft wise before the holidays get here. But I love it! I can't wait to give gifts and GET gifts.
I've also lost a total of 12lbs in the past 3-4 weeks. Lately I've felt like I've gained it because I haven't been going to the gym. I -have- been watching my diet though so I suppose THAT really helps. So, YAY me! *lol*
I don't usually like romantic movies. However, I keep seeing previews for the movie The Fountain and WOW! I can't wait to see it. The story looks amazing. I also want to see Happy Feet! Don't laugh, it looks adorable!! Besides, Elijah Wood is in it, I don't care if it -IS- just his voice. *crosses arms and sticks out tongue*

    CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS!!!!! I Think that's tramendous and I'm sooooooooo happy for you, girl! Seriously. THat's some really great and tramendous news.
    As for those movies...IF the Fountain is the one with Rachael Weizs then of course it's worth seeing. Happy Feet,. though. Oh my. No. Clever pengiuins...OR perhaps PENGUINS that TRY to be clever are not allowed in my book. NO WAY!!!!
    Anyway, keep up the good work! You're awesome!

Losing Money

That's what my bosses are doing today. They make us work on Memorial Day and then question why we aren't busy. But hey, why should I care? I'm getting paid to sit here and read. It's just that sometimes I can't help feeling I'm stuck in a Saturday detention. Doesn't help that half of the employees called in 'sick' today. Maybe I'm just jealous and bitter. I did have a wonderful weekend though! We went to the lake on Saturday and couldn't have asked for better weather. Had a BBQ, soaked up some sun, went home and slept. I watched Trainspotting while I unpacked some more boxes. It was disturbing to say the least and the baby, TRAUMATIZING. Johnny Lee Miller is absolutely adorable though. On Sunday we went to the theater and saw Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End . I was a little 'iffy' about it because I had read it was over 2 1/2 hours long. So this is INCREDIBLY rambly...just had to get some things out! Life is.... interesting I feel..... everything One moment I feel very adult-like. I have responsibilities, a career (even if it's one I don't like). I have bills to pay and I'm budgeting my money. I make wise choices and investments. I help people with their problems and I am a shoulder to cry on. I fix things and I'm in complete control. I know how the world works and I feel comfortable with that. In between this breath and the next I'm on my ass. Things aren't like that at all. Am I just fooling myself? Is it a coping mechanism for us because we are so programed to think that way?
