New terms

So I killed my ankle on Friday night. Over the weekend I tried to wear shoes as little as possible. Unfortunately at work shoes are a required item. My normal tennis shoes just weren't cutting it. The back was rubbing and I was constantly walking and in motion (because we have been insanely busy). So, I asked a friend of mine if I could borrow her crocs. First of all I think these shoes are the uglies shoes ever, but I keep hearing how comfortable they are. It honestly feels like you aren't even wearing shoes when you have them on. They were fine for a day, but after that my feet started killing me. I guess I need more support with my arches and stuff. So I put like three band-aids on my heel and braved my normal shoes. It hurts, but I think it's getting better. Besides, a stubborn part of me will wear my New Balances NO MATTER WHAT!
On a totally different note, I've come to realize that I can not hear music in my head. I don't know how I never noticed before, but I'll see people walking around humming or they will just start singing a song. I got to thinking and trying to hear music, not happening. When I think of a song...like Britney spears, I see her..I see her singing..I don't HEAR her though. WhenI think of Vivaldi or Beethoven..I see violins or a big orchestra..but I don't hear anything. This is REALLY sad to me. I guess I'm just REALLY a visual person. Although, admittedly...I did listen to my I-pod last night and I would pause it in the middle of a song and try to hear the music in my head....Nope. *sighs* Is this something you are just born with??
AUNTISM of the day - Otherwise known as crazy things my aunt says.
I have to set this one up a little bit. I was doing laundry last night. I had just emptied my clothes from the dryer and was walking through the kitchen with my clothes hamper when my aunt notices me and says "So how's that working out for you?" I reply, "What? The clothes?" She says, "yeah" and shakes her head. I look at her weirdly, "Umm, they're dry." She's so funny (and not in the ha-ha way) sometimes.

I think it's interesting, about the music. Being one of those hummers and singers I've never had problem hearing it. I always wonder when people tell me they can't. How does THAT work? How can you not? Well it'd be interesting to find out why some people can and others can't. It may have to do with which side of the brain we favor or something like that. That's just a guess, though.

I'm really sorry about your foot but I Think you need to leave it to open air. IT needs to dry and putting shoes and socks on are murder for that kind of thing. You'll create a warm and moist environment which means that more infection can brew. Yuck! I'm grossing myself out now. DON'T GET INFECTED, understand?!
WHat else? What else? Ummmm... Oh yeah! Your aunt...I love her to death! She makes me laugh. My favorite story, though, is how she single handedly warded off the neighbor's cat! Way to go Cheri! *LOL*
