So Here's a look at my latest endeavor. This was a lot of fun actually. Who knew drawing on shoes with sharpies could be such a blast!? These bad girls were originally intended for a Christmas present for my younger sister and they were going to look more tattooish and dark. As soon as I started with the blue though, I really really wanted to turn them into a funky 80's 'thing' and when I finally finished one shoe I didn't think she would appreciate them as much as I do! Sooo, I kept them for myself! She did in fact like them although I don't think she would wear them still. I've actually gotten a couple of requests to do some for my friends, different style of course. I would love to try, but with requests like that, I always get really nervous it isn't going to turn out how they wanted or expected. *shrugs* We'll see what happens though. You never know, one day I might become famous and these shoes will be on E-Bay for thousands of dollars! Keep a look out for that.

    Edina Monsoon would love them. Hahahaha! Well I think it's an awesome idea and really no one can really copy it exactly. Well they COULD but they would have to have the shoes RIGHT infront of them, wouldn't they? In any case that rocks except for the part in which you kept them for yourself. SHAME on you! I hope you gave yoru sister something nice then.

Losing Money

That's what my bosses are doing today. They make us work on Memorial Day and then question why we aren't busy. But hey, why should I care? I'm getting paid to sit here and read. It's just that sometimes I can't help feeling I'm stuck in a Saturday detention. Doesn't help that half of the employees called in 'sick' today. Maybe I'm just jealous and bitter. I did have a wonderful weekend though! We went to the lake on Saturday and couldn't have asked for better weather. Had a BBQ, soaked up some sun, went home and slept. I watched Trainspotting while I unpacked some more boxes. It was disturbing to say the least and the baby, TRAUMATIZING. Johnny Lee Miller is absolutely adorable though. On Sunday we went to the theater and saw Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End . I was a little 'iffy' about it because I had read it was over 2 1/2 hours long. So this is INCREDIBLY rambly...just had to get some things out! Life is.... interesting I feel..... everything One moment I feel very adult-like. I have responsibilities, a career (even if it's one I don't like). I have bills to pay and I'm budgeting my money. I make wise choices and investments. I help people with their problems and I am a shoulder to cry on. I fix things and I'm in complete control. I know how the world works and I feel comfortable with that.
